Prep'd for Hardie Panel

Katie and I drove up on Saturday to get the top section ready for the Hardie Panel, which will arrive in about a week.

We usually make a potty stop at Stevens Pass. (Note the snow on 7th Heaven.)

We used all 3 tall ladders to minimize the need to move them around.

Tyvek stretched, stapled and taped across the top level.
Vycor membrane around the windows.
Metal flashing on top of the membrane.

We had the iPad with us and were able to listen to first session of General Conference while we worked.  For some reason the Verizon network got finicky in the afternoon and we had only sporadic success listening to the second session. But the work was straight forward and we finished before 3pm and headed home.

The Hardie Panel is supposed to be ready for pick up by the 17th, so planning on October 20th as the big day -- weather willing.  Since the paneling won't be here by next weekend, we're going to start working on the Ipe on the lower level next weekend.
